The Southern Cook Book of fine old recipes

This is a old wooden covered front and back cookbook given to me by my friend Bonnie.  The copyright of this book is 1939.  At one point it was laced to keep intact. It has 48 pages of small print recipes. I can't say this will be my go to cookbook, but interesting to look at and think this was someone's frequently used cookbook in the day. I do appreciate you giving me this book Bonnie.  Some of the recipes include Pigeon Pie, Calvert Manor Frogs' legs, Opossum, Pendennis Turtle Soup, and a recipe for Strawberry jam Cake which I would consider making.
Thank you Bonnie
