Cranberry Sauce

Homemade Cranberry Sauce
1 1/2 cups sugar, 2 cups water, and 4 cups fresh cranberries
optional but add the grated rind of one orange

Boil the sugar and water together for 5 minutes. Add cranberries and rind and boil without stirring until all the skins pop open. This will take about 5 minutes. Remove from the stove and allow sauce to cool in saucepan.
