Look here, I am not cooking or baking today but have made 5 burrito pillow cases for some kiddo's.  They are fast and easy and fun to make.  Not a lot of precise measuring etc.

Just follow the from Vanessa at Crafty Gemini and she will show you how to make one. I love them!  What do you think?  Got any little ones on your christmas list that would like a pillow case?

So, lets dust off that sewing machine, check out the video and get some fabric and you are ready to go............Having a rotary cutter is a benefit but not don't even have to match tread to your fabric because there are no seams that show the final sewing is a french seam and when you look inside the seams are all finished off no raw edges or frayed seams.........Have fun Andi

Vanessa's tutorial on making the pillow case

Hope my little people like them..................

  1. Andi, I love these pillow cases! I don't sew really well, but I do get in the mood for sewing projects now and then, and this one looks like something I would enjoy. I think they'd make great little gifts, too! I love all the bright colors. Thanks for the link to the video tutorial!

  2. You have great collection of Pillow cases. I found very useful article in your blog regarding Household Products Which show the hard work of you. The link of video tutorial which you have shared here is sound lovely. It's very unique idea about Pillow case.

  3. Hi Andi, these pillowcases are beautiful! Our babysitter gave one to my daughter for her birthday once and I thought it was one of the best gifts ever. I love gifts that are different and useful. Great job! I love the colours and patterns you chose. I just saw your comment on my blog from 2011. I don't remember seeing it back then. Anyway, just thought I'd pop by and see what you were up to. The pillowcase post caught my eye!
