HOMEMADE PILLOW CASES

Look here, I am not cooking or baking today but have made 5 burrito pillow cases for some kiddo's.  They are fast and easy and fun to make.  Not a lot of precise measuring etc.

Just follow the youtube.com from Vanessa at Crafty Gemini and she will show you how to make one. I love them!  What do you think?  Got any little ones on your christmas list that would like a pillow case?

So, lets dust off that sewing machine, check out the video and get some fabric and you are ready to go............Having a rotary cutter is a benefit but not necessary...you don't even have to match tread to your fabric because there are no seams that show the final sewing is a french seam and when you look inside the seams are all finished off no raw edges or frayed seams.........Have fun Andi

Vanessa's tutorial on making the pillow case

Hope my little people like them..................

  1. Andi, I love these pillow cases! I don't sew really well, but I do get in the mood for sewing projects now and then, and this one looks like something I would enjoy. I think they'd make great little gifts, too! I love all the bright colors. Thanks for the link to the video tutorial!
